Alone again-epilogue

"Magnus, why do you have to dye your hair again?!"  "Because darling, it's the official first week of our get couple get-together, and I want to look my best!" Magnus yelled from the bathroom, shower steam smoking from under the door, along with the strong scent of grapefruit shampoo. Alec sighed. He would never understand the fetish that Magnus had with dying his hair, or taking long showers with strangely scented hair wash. But, that was just one of the many things to love about him, Alec thought lovingly. Ever since Magnus has rescued him from the Rakeir demon, Alec had found himself thinking of Magnus in ways that were non-accountable, or thinking about how even though he had just betrayed Magnus, almost stolen his immortality, he still loved him. I wonder why, h thought. What about the situation made Magnus forget about what he had done? Alex shoved that thought to the hidden place in his mind, not wanting to know.

The shower door slammed open with a bang, scaring Chairman Meow with a start. Alec himself jumped, but not from the noise. Magnus has arrived from the shower with only a rainbow striped towel, wrapped around him like a loincloth, dripping wet. Alec let out a gulp, watching Magnus warily. "So, Magnus, what color do you want to dye it next?" Alec had only said this to break the awkward silence and eye contact that was being held together by the shadow hunter and cat-eyed warlock.  "oh, I don't know," replied Magnus lazily. "Maybe gold, Ive only done that a dozen or so times before, or orange, but...I think I'm going to make sure that whatever it is, it goes well with the color of your eyes." Magnus suddenly launched himself at Alec, throwing in all of the passion, all of t love, and all all of the desire that he had been holding in for a straight week. Alec surrenders, knowing that there was nothing that he could do to stop him, even if he wanted to, which he most decently didn't. "Alec" Magnus whispered, while kissing Alec feverishly, "I'm not promising to completely forgive you, but I am promising you that I will always love you, no matter what Alexander, I-" but before he could give his lovelorn speech any further, his lips were silenced by a soft embrace with Alec's own. "Magnus, i couldn't care wether or not the world was burning in hell, as long as your with me. Magnus sighed against Alec's lips, silently agreeing. "Yup, definitely blue." was the only reply that the warlock gave, as they both sank deeper into each others arms.
